Youth Programs at the Y, help to keep kids active!


Early Childhood Activities

Early Childhood Parties (2-8 years)

Your child can join us for a party based on a fun theme while you work out. Crafts, games, special dress up, and a lite dinner will be served.

September 18- Sports Fanatics- Wear your favorite sport team attire
October 16- Spooktacular-
Wear your costume!
November 20- Super Hero Party- Dress up like your favorite super hero!

Youth and Family Activities

Youth Fitness Training (10-14 years)

For youth members who are interested in keeping themselves fit and heathly by using equipment on the wellness floor. Participants will learn safety and proper technique of all wellness floor equipment, including free weights, as well as discussion of character development, weight room etiquette, basic nutrition and anatomy. Parents do not need to be present for class.

Second Saturday of the month
Saturday -10:15am-12:15pm
Group Sessions: $25 first child + $10 each additional child in the family
Individual Scheduled 2 – hour Sessions:
$55 for one child + $10 each additional

Halloween Family Fun Night (all ages)

Wear your favorite costume and join us for some great goblin fun! Bounce house, crafts, games, and more. A “ghoul”icious dinner will be served. Enjoy the haunted house in the gym, provided by our Teen Program. Don’t miss out on this fun family event!

Healthy Families

A FREE health and nutrition program for families with children who want to live healthier, more active lives- TOGETHER! The program runs for 8-weeks and families receive a free YMCA membership for the duration of the program.

August 6- September 24, 2014
Wednesday- 6:00-7:30pm

Member : FREE + YMCA family membership during the program.

Book a birthday party today! Choose from Bounce House Party or a Swimming Party.
Held at Council Bluffs YMCA and Kirn Pool.

Bounce House Party-is a 2 hour party held in our fitness studio.
1.5 hours in the bounce house then have time for cake and gifts.

Swimming Party- is a 2 hour party held at Council Bluffs YMCA or Kirn Pool.  Enjoy 1 hour of swimming and 1 hour in the party area for cake and gifts.

Friday 6:00-8:00pm

Saturday/ Sunday: 12:00-2:00pm OR 3:00pm-5:00pm

Kirn Pool Party Hours
Friday – 5:30-7:30 pm

Saturday/Sunday- 12:00-2:00 pm OR 1:00-3:00 pm

Bounce House Party Rates:
Member/Non member: $130 for 10 guests +$5 for each additional child
Pool Party Rates- YMCA Pool-
Member: $60 for 10 guests, + $5 for each additional child.
Non member: $80 for 10 guests +$5 for each additional child.

Kirn Pool Rates:
Member: $100  for 10 guests + $5 for each additional child

Non Member: $120 for 10 guests + $5 for each additional child

*After Hours rentals available upon request for addtional fees.
